A Loft Bed for Kids Should Be One That Grows With Them
July 26th, 2011 | Posted by in Casa KidsRecently, Roberto Gil of Casa Kids finished a custom project in a Manhattan apartment for a 12 year old boy’s room. The room is a very small room of the apartment, but this project really shows you what you can do with even the smallest of spaces.
When it comes to creating a loft bed for kids that’s going to grow with them as they get older, Roberto is a pro. This 12 year old wanted a larger bed than a twin so the loft bed is full sized, with an “L” shaped desk underneath that is perfect for him to do his schoolwork on. And since there’s a cut out on the side facing the window, there is plenty of natural light for him to work with.
On the other end of the bed is plenty of storage and a bookshelf for him to store all his school needs and his own personal reading material. The gray accent of the piece makes it all look far more grown up than “kiddie”, which is exactly what a boy his age would love.
Modern loft beds for kids can fit even in the smallest rooms and still give them the feel that they have their own grown up space. Get your custom kids bedroom by visiting Casa Kids!
