One of the main advantages to custom kids rooms, is that it is the most efficient way to use all of the space in an area. This desk and storage unit uses one wall of a child’s bedroom to provide storage in a tight area. There’s plenty of room to display special toys and books, as well as cabinets with doors to put things away. The desk has enough space for homework and a computer when the child gets older.

The bench above the lower drawers creates a place to sit and also a platform for children to climb on to reach higher shelves safely.

Custom kids rooms are ideal when you need to fit a lot into a tight space. This room needed storage, a bed, a desk, and room to play. Using a loft bed created space for a desk and extra storage, while the bookshelves and closet use every inch of wall space to keep the center of the room open.

The existing door was replaced with a narrower one so that the bed and shelves would fit just right.

This closet is built with hanging space at a height that is comfortable for children, and drawers below to make putting clothes away easy and quick. The adjacent bookshelf creates lots of storage for books and toys.

This loft bed features a ladder with wide steps and bed rail openings for easy climbing. The ladder with blue accents to match the closet and bench also serves to save space, as opposed to stairs.

Modern Bunk Beds Can Save You Tons of Space
